Just a few short months into their agreement, FUEL TV is seeing the benefits of the UFC on their television schedule. For viewing in March, FUEL TV reported a 100 percent gain in total viewers from March of last year.
Those numbers were due to 213 hours of UFC programming in the month of March alone, helping prime time viewership for FUEL TV expand by 209 percent. Late-night viewing was also up 170 percent, while all three of those numbers grew to 167, 325 and 600 in the 18-49 age for males.
“It’s unbelievable how much impact the UFC has had on this network and its ratings,” said George Greenberg, Executive Vice President and General Manager of FUEL TV. “We’re thrilled to have the UFC as a partner driving this growth. With more upcoming live fights in April, May and through the year, we expect this trend to continue.”
FUEL TV is part of FOX, which signed a multi-year agreement with the UFC last year. The next live FUEL TV show is set for April 14 with Alexander Gustafsson taking on Thiago Silva.
