“The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” Episode 2 Recap: Teams Are Selected By Belfort, Silva

The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil showcased the first fight of the season from those that made it into the house Sunday night, along with splitting the 16 fighters into teams of eight for coaches Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva. The show, which is being filmed in Brazil, is airing on every Sunday night at 11:30 p.m. ET.

Silva won the coin flip and selected the first draft pick, going with Rony “Jason” Mariano Bezerra. That gave Belfort the right to select the first fight, as he pitted Godofredo “Pepey” de Oliveira against Wagner “Galeto” Campos.

The fight went two rounds, with Silva’s “Pepey” picking up the victory via decision. That allows him to select the middleweight fight for next week.
