Thirty-two lightweight UFC hopefuls battled it out last Friday for the premiere episode of The Ultimate Fighter: Live, which aired for the first time in the series’ history on FX.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the medical suspension information for that bevy of fights, revealing that one competitor who advanced has been suspended.
Jeremy Larsen, who defeated Jeff Smith by unanimous decision to make it onto the house, suffered a cut in the bout and has been suspended until March 31. Larsen can be cleared by a physician after March 16, so his future as a competitor on the show is not yet decided.
Five other fighters — all of whom were defeated — were suspended for various reasons. The full list is below:
-Erin Beach is suspended until 4/9/12 with no contact until 3/31/12 due to TKO loss and lower left lip laceration.
