Former UFC heavyweight champion Tim “The Maineiac” Sylvia has been campaigning for the past month or so for another run in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The 36-year-old left the UFC in 2008 on the heels of a loss to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira for a big money fight against Fedor Emelianenko. Sylvia was finished quickly in that fight, as well as in a follow-up bout against aging boxer Ray Mercer.
30-7 as a pro, Sylvia has gone 6-1 since losing to Mercer and is currently riding a two-fight winning streak. He released the following videos, title Beast Mode, via his personal YouTube account to sway UFC president Dana White to allow him to finish his career in the UFC — something the UFC boss has so far been adamantly against.
