UFC 144: Norifumi Yamamoto Vs. Vaughan Lee

Round 1: Respectful start to the fight, Lee working the center and trying to close the distance as Yamamoto circles on the outside. Yamamoto slides in with a right hand. Lee looking to return fire, but Yamamoto isn’t there when he does. Yamamoto with a right hook. Lee finally closes the distance, but all that results is some brief clinch fighting. Yamamoto sits Lee down with a hard right. Lee pops up and puts his back on the fence, covering up well against Yamamoto’s ensuing onslaught. Lee circles out, seemingly having regained his composure. Lee coming forward, pushing through counters to land a nice jumping knee. Yamamoto might’ve gotten hurt, he closes the distance and clinches to but some time. They separate eventually and Yamamoto is back on the attack. Lee rocks Yamamoto with a right hook, but gives up the takedown as he pushes forward. Lee slaps on the triangle with under a minute to go. Yamamoto is fighting free and Lee switches to an armbar, forcing the tap.
