Never one to hold back when he finds something worthy of a tirade, UFC president Dana White recently let boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather have it for recent comments the fighter made about Asian NBA player Jeremy Lin, as well as for some past off-color remarks directed at Manny Pacquiao.
Mayweather posted the following:
Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he’s Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don’t get the same praise. Other countries get to support/cheer their athletes and everything is fine. As soon as I support Black athletes, I get criticized. Wow, what a country. I’m speaking my mind on behalf of other NBA players. They are programmed to be politically correct and will be penalized if they speak up.
This was apparently a little too much for White to let slide, as he went on camera during a recent episode of UFC Tonight to let Mayweather know just how he feels about his perceived racism, as well as his unwillingness to fight Manny Pacquiao. Check out the video below.
