Well, maybe Roger Gracie isn’t a UFC fighter just yet. UFC president Dana White took to The Underground on Sunday to dismiss the claims that were made on Twitter earlier this weekend that made it seem like he was signed to a UFC contract.
“Not true,” White posted under his account.
Gracie (4-1) was handed his first career MMA loss last year at the hands of Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal while competing in Strikeforce. Rumors of Gracie dropping down to middleweight have been reported.
The Twitter account also stated that Gracie was looking to work with UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva in preparation for his UFC debut. Gracie is 65-7 in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and submission grappling matches.
