Dana White Tells Hackers He’s Not Afraid, Invites Them To Attack Website Again

At first, news of the UFC’s URL being redirected to by hackers elicited little more than a scoff from UFC president Dana White, but now outspoken promotional figurehead sounds ready to dig in his heels and make a fight of it.

“I’m not afraid of you,” White said today (via MMAJunkie). “So you want to keep hacking our site? Go for it. Watch what happens. You’re hurting yourself.”

The hackers targeted the UFC for supporting SOPA, a bill that essentially proposes to allow the government to censor the internet. Admitting that the bill isn’t a perfect one, but that his promotion supports it to fight against piracy, White explained that the hackers may have given the bill new life and are simply waging a battle that they cannot hope to win.

“These guys look like terrorists now,” White said. “And a bill that was about to die is about to come back. Now you guys look like terrorists. Politicians were terrified of the internet. Now, you’re making them mad. And one thing that everybody has to learn and everybody has to know – everybody’s saying, ‘You can’t beat the Internet.’

“No, you can’t beat the fu**ing government. That’s who you can’t beat. That’s a fight you will always lose.”
