The UFC has announced today that three fighters have been forced off of the UFC 142: Aldo vs. Mendes fight card, which is scheduled for early next month.
Would-be UFC debutant Siyar Bahadurzada, as well as returning fighters Stanislav Nedkov and Rob Broughton have all pulled out of their individual bouts on the card – against Erick Silva, Fabio Maldonado and Ednaldo Oliveira, respectively – with Nedkov citing visa issues.
Welterweight fighter Paulo Thiago also announced his withdrawal from a bout with Mike Pyle due to an elbow injury.
Former UFC heavyweight contender Gabriel Gonzaga is rumored to be making his return on the card, replacing Broughton against Oliveira.
The search for further replacement fighters is underway.
