Round 1: Hecht working leg kicks early on, keeping Attonito on the outside by doing so. Attonito catches one and takes Hecht down, landing in half guard. Hecht recovers full guard. Hecht keeping most of Attonito’s offense stifled by staying busy off of his back. Attonito holding top position, staying busy enough to prevent a stand-up and working consistent, though not overwhelming, ground and pound. The round ends with Attonito on top still and Hecht unable to extricate himself from the position.

Attonito closes the distance and fights for the takedown, but eats a pair of elbows that buckle his knees.
