This is the first TUF 14 final bout of the night, taking place in the bantamweight division. Herb Dean will ref this fight.

Round 1: Dillashaw starts the fight out throwing kicks immediately. Dodson clips him with a left and Dillashaw tries to bait him into thinking he’s hurt; Dodson doesn’t bite. Dillashaw lands an inside leg kick and Dodson touches him with a left hook, left kick to the body. Dodson rocks Dillashaw with a glancing shot and then drops him with a thunderous left hook. He follows him to the ground with a few punches before Dean stops the fight.

Dillashaw protests the stoppage, as he was going for a single after getting dropped. He was clearly on queer street, but that one might have been a little early. The crowd boos all the way through the decision reading.

John Dodson defeated TJ Dillashaw via TKO (punches) at 1:54 of round 1

“Words cannot describe how I feel right now. Thank you everybody! I don’t care if you guys hate me, just watch me, please!” says Dodson.
