TUF 14 Finale: Louis Gaudinot Vs. Johnny Bedford

Round 1: They touch gloves to start the first main card match. Bedford looking sharp, countering well. He hits a takedown when Gaudinot over-commits on a strike. Bedford lands a nice knee as Gaudinot fights to his feet. Gaudinot trying to get his back off the cage as Bedford attacks him with knees and elbows. Bedford hits a nice trip and then takes mount. Bedford sitting high up in mount, pounding away on Gaudinot as he does little more than cover up. Gaudinot gives up his back. Bedford is just pounding away at Gaudinot from the top, completely dominating him. Gaudinot trying to get to his feet, but Bedford stays on his back and continues to pound on him. Gaudinot has had nothing for Bedford in this first round. He eats two knees to the gut before the bell.

Round 2: Gaudinot tries to come out strong, but Bedford stalls his assault with a pair of hard knees. Bedford gets the takedown and lands more knees as Gaudinot tries to fight to his feet. Bedford fighting for another takedown and he gets it. Bedford looking great, showing sharp technique and absolutely dominating this fight in every area. Bedford takes mount, but Gaudinot hip escapes. If Bedford is going to finish this fight, he’ll have to take it from Gaudinot, because he’s not giving up. Bedford postures and starts to rain down blows. Bedford takes mount again and sits up very high. Gaudinot gives up his back briefly. Bedford landing hard elbows through the guard. Bedford looking for Gaudinot’s left arm with fifteen seconds to go. He can’t finish it before the bell.

Round 3: Bedford controlling the stand up early, landing with technical kicks and punches. Gaudinot trying to fight back – he lands a spinning back fist – but he spends most of his time covered up against the fence, taking punches to the head and body. He crumples to the mat under the assault and Bedford follows him down, where he beats on him more. He starts in with knees to the body of a turtled Gaudinot and ref Steve Mazzagatti calls it off shortly thereafter.
