BAMMA Inks TV Deal With HDNet

BAMMA is coming to HDNet, as the England-based fight promotion announced it has reached a television agreement with HDNet to begin showing live events as soon as December. The announcement was made on HDNet’s Inside MMA show.

The multi-year deal between the two sides will start on December 10 with BAMMA 8, which features Andre Winner meeting Diego Gonzales and Jimmy Wallhead taking on Joey Villasenor.

“We see a U.S. TV partner as a major step in our growth as an organization and believe we have found that ideal partner in HDNet,” said BAMMA CEO David Green (thanks to for transcribing). “We are very excited about this new partnership and look forward to bringing some first class events to the U.S. public.”

BAMMA also has contracts with the likes of Nate Marquardt and Paul Daley. Marquardt is currently scheduled to make his BAMMA debut in February when he takes on Yoshiyuki Yoshida for the welterweight title.
