The two men hit the scales today and both of them weighed within the heavyweight limits, Velasquez coming in at 249lbs. and dos Santos at 239lbs.
A native Californian who’s made his home in San Jose, Velasquez was heavily supported by the crowd; he told his fans that he’s excited to fight in front of a hometown crowd and promised to deliver a show.
UFC on Fox: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos takes place tomorrow night from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. FightLine will be back beginning around 4:45pm ET with live, ongoing coverage of the event, starting with the nine-fight preliminary card.
