Mark Munoz made his claim to a fight with UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva following his victory over Chris Leben at UFC 138. However, the “Filipino Wrecking Machine” has another man in his sights, as well, in Michael Bisping.
“I could see that fight, Michael Bisping is a guy who has proven himself in this sport. He’s a great mixed martial artist,” said Munoz, in a recent interview with ESPN.com. “I’d love to fight him. For me, I just want to improve every time, I trust in my team, and it’s a testament (to my teammates) of how I am in the cage. I’m ready man, whoever they bring, I’m ready.”
Munoz has won his last four fights, including the victory over Leben. Bisping is currently scheduled to meet Jason “Mayhem” Miller in December following the current season of The Ultimate Fighter.
