DirecTV and FOX Network have come to terms on a deal to keep FOX and its long-list of channels from being blacked out to DirecTV subscribers.
“FOX Networks and DirecTV have reached an agreement for DirecTV to continue carrying all FOX Networks (including FX, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD, SPEED, FUEL TV, FOX Soccer, FOX Soccer Plus and FOX Deportes), FOX’s regional sports networks, FOX Broadcasting, the FOX local stations, FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network,” DirecTV revealed in a statement. “We both know the past 10 days have been challenging, but we’re pleased that both sides could eventually come together to ensure our viewers continue to enjoy FOX programming.”
FOX and the UFC signed a seven-year deal earlier this year to broadcast several shows on many different stations. FX will start showing The Ultimate Fighter in 2012, while FUEL TV will host Ultimate Insider.
