UFC 137 main eventers Nick Diaz and BJ Penn took home the highest payouts from any competitor on the October 29 fight card, pulling in $200,000 and $150,000, respectively.
Diaz took Penn in a three round classic, rebounding from a tough first round to absolutely batter BJ Penn, keeping the Hawaiian battler on the end of his never-ending stream of punches for the rest of the fight. The emphatic victory earns Diaz a title fight against a fired up Georges St-Pierre along with a much fatter paycheck.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the full list of fighter payouts for UFC 137, which took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, minus any fight night bonuses handed out by the UFC.
