Welterweight Title Fight Made Official After Bellator 56 Weigh-ins

Bellator 56 goes down tomorrow night, October 29, from the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas and all fighters competing on the card today tipped the scales for their respective fights.

The main event will see welterweight champion Ben Askren attempt to defend his Bellator title against Bellator season four tournament winner Jay Hieron. The event will also play host to the Bellator season five heavyweight tournament semi-finals. The second round of the tournament will see Neil Grove face Thiago Santos and Eric Prindle take on Ron Sparks for a chance to advance to the finals.
