Hip Injury Will Sideline C.B. Dollaway For Extended Period

C.B. Dollaway, who has lost his last two fights in the UFC, will undergo surgery to fix his injured hip next week. The former Ultimate Fighter runner-up suffered the injury in a loss to Jared Hamman this past August.

Dollaway was riding a three-fight win streak before suffering back-to-back knockout losses against Mark Munoz and Hamman this year. He is 11-4 in his pro MMA career, including a 5-4 mark in the UFC.

“I tore my labrum in my hip in my last fight, so I haven’t been back in training. Getting surgery Nov. 2,” said Dollaway, in a recent interview with “I just want o get recovered and get back in there.”

David Martin, Dollaway’s manager, believes his fighter will be back training in roughly three months. The surgery will be performed in Colorado.
