C.B. Dollaway, who has lost his last two fights in the UFC, will undergo surgery to fix his injured hip next week. The former Ultimate Fighter runner-up suffered the injury in a loss to Jared Hamman this past August.
Dollaway was riding a three-fight win streak before suffering back-to-back knockout losses against Mark Munoz and Hamman this year. He is 11-4 in his pro MMA career, including a 5-4 mark in the UFC.
“I tore my labrum in my hip in my last fight, so I haven’t been back in training. Getting surgery Nov. 2,” said Dollaway, in a recent interview with MMAWeekly.com. “I just want o get recovered and get back in there.”
David Martin, Dollaway’s manager, believes his fighter will be back training in roughly three months. The surgery will be performed in Colorado.
