Rashad Evans has a history with both UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and his opponent at UFC 140, Lyoto Machida. So, which one does Evans want to fight first?
“I want to fight ’em both and I want to fight ’em in the same night,” joked Evans, during an interview for MMA Heat recently. “In seriousness, it doesn’t really matter to me. I’m looking to compete against the best and whoever wins is obviously the best.”
Evans and Jones have gone from training partners under Greg Jackson to bitter enemies due to comments made by both over the past several months. Twice they have had scheduled matches called off due to hand injuries.
Machida is the only loss on Evans’ career record, as “The Dragon” knocked out “Suga” in 2009 and claimed the UFC 205-pound title at UFC 98.
UFC 140 takes place December 10 from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
