The UFC is scheduled to make its network television debut this November 12 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and the promotion today revealed four more match-ups which are likely to appear on the card, but are still materializing.
First off is a featherweight match-up between Robert Peralta (15-3) and Mackens Semerzier (6-3). A carryover from the WEC, the 30-year-old Semerzier recently made his UFC debut a successful one, defeating The Ultimate Fighter alum Alex Caceres via submission this past March. Peralta recently made his UFC debut as well, filling in for Semerzier against Mike Lullo last month and taking home a unanimous decision.
Middleweights Paul Bradley (18-3) and Mike Pierce are also slated to meet at the event. Bradley debuted in the UFC this past August at UFC 133, dropping a unanimous decision to Rafael Natal. Pierce has fought under the UFC banner six times now (all in the welterweight division), amassing a promotional record of 4-2, with his only two losses coming by narrow decision against Jon Fitch and Johny Hendricks.
In the light heavyweight division, Matt Lucas (14-2) and Aaron Rosa (16-4) have been scheduled to do battle. Matt “Luke Duke” Lucas will be making his UFC debut on a five-fight winning streak. Rosa is making his second appearance in the promotion, having lost to Joey Beltran via TKO in his debut at UFC 131 in June after a hard-fought battle.
Finally, MMAJunkie.com reports that a welterweight tilt between The Ultimate Fighter alums DaMarques Johnson (12-9) and Clay Harvison (9-3) has been verbally agreed to for the event. 3-3 in the UFC, Johnson is coming off of a submission (due to strikes) loss to Amir Sadollah in a fight he took on short notice. Following his fight against Justin Edwards on the TUF 13 Finale – which he won via split decision – Harvison dropped a contest to Seth Baczynski via submission.
The card will be headlined by a UFC heavyweight title fight between champ Cain Velasquez and challenger Junior dos Santos.
