Episode two of the fourteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter aired last night and brought in more viewers than the first; Spike TV heads revealed that the broadcast pulled in 1.6 million viewers, an increase from the season premiere, which pulled in 1.5 million.
In regards to ratings, the episode scored 1.58 overall and 1.95 in the 18-34/18-49 demographics.
Last night’s episode featured team picks by coaches Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Michael Bisping as well as the first fight of the season (other than those held to determine who would make it into the house) between Team Mayhem’s Bryan Caraway and Team Bisping’s Marcus Brimage. Caraway defeated Brimage via second-round submission, meaning that Team Mayhem gets the season’s first win as well as control of the next match-up.
