Lorenz Larkin improved to 12-0 with a victory over Nick Rossborough in the main event of Strikeforce Challengers 19 Friday night.
Larkin found another gear in the third rond, landing a knee to the body that dropped Rossborough. Larkin also connected with an elbow that broke Rossborough open, pushing him to the unanimous decision.
Ryan Couture, the son of UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture, rebounded from his first career loss by claiming a majority decision over Maka Watson. Two judges awarded the bout to Couture (3-1), while another had it a draw.
In other action, former Louisiana State University football standout Shawn Jordan scored a submission victory over Lavar Johnson. Jordan locked in a keylock in the second round to improve to 12-3 overall.
Jason High defeated Todd Moore via decision and Brian Melancon earned a decision victory over Felipe Portela in the other fights on the main card.
