UFC President Dana White has never backed down from a fight.
White has been involved in several verbal sparring matches with some of the biggest names in boxing, including Bob Arum.
Recently, while a guest on Sherdog’s Radio Networks, White blasted Arum once again, as only White can.
Arum feels that the UFC is taking over other companies, like Strikeforce, and building a monopoly on the MMA business.
“That idiot Bob Arum was talking the other day and screaming about a monopoly but in the beginning, he thought it was the funniest thing in the world that the Fertittas (Frank and Lorenzo) had bought this company because they were so stupid and how much money they were gonna lose because nobody wants to see men rolling around in their underwear and all the other ignorant, dumb stuff he’s said about MMA over the last 10 years and now it’s all about a monopoly,” White said. “You know how much money we’re going to lose on this fight? Argh…there’s so many things I could say about this dirtbag. He wasn’t smart enough to do it, he didn’t have the balls to do it, now he wants to cry about it and be jealous about what we have over here.
“(Expletive) you, Bob.”
White has talked previously about how they tried to bring Arum in when first taking over the UFC as an investor, but Arum turned them down.
Arum is the founder and CEO of Top Rank. His problems with the UFC date back to 2009 when he made controversial remarks about the fighters.
