Dan Henderson will not be getting his wish to compete in both the UFC and Strikeforce, according to UFC President Dana White.
White, in an interview with 5th Round, was asked if Henderson’s contract is exclusive to the UFC, as he is the current Strikeforce light heavyweight champion?
“Yup,” was all White said on the subject, and added he didn’t know what would happen to the Strikeforce title now.
Henderson will face Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at UFC 139 on November 19 from San Jose, California.
“Hendo” has previously fought for the UFC twice. He had hoped to be able to defend his title, or at least unify it, but will settle for facing a former champion in Rua.
