Mark Hominick Gets His Wish, Will Fight At UFC 140

Mark Hominick made it known publicly that he wished to compete at UFC 140 in Toronto.

UFC officials have confirmed Hominick (20-9) will be part of the card, as he has been signed to face Chan Sung Jung (11-3).

It was not made known if the Hominick-Jung fight will be part of the pay-per-view main card or not.

Hominick will be fighting in his native country for a second straight time, as he competed at UFC 129 against featherweight champion Jose Aldo. “Scarface” was unable to finish Hominick, but did secure a decision victory in a bout that scored Fight of the Night honors.

“The Korean Zombie” won his UFC debut by defeating Leonard Garcia earlier this year. The 24-year-old used a rare twister to earn the Submission of the Night.

UFC 140 features Frank Mir taking on Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in a heavyweight rematch.
