Jeremy Stephens Plans To “Expose” Anthony Pettis

Anthony Pettis and the entire WEC roster has felt like they were under appreciated when the UFC moved them up and folded the company.

Pettis, the last WEC champion, suffered a decision loss to Clay Guida in his last fight inside the Octagon and will meet veteran Jeremy Stephens next month at UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard lll.

Stephens, who is coming off a win on the same card Pettis fought Guida on over Danny Downes, has started a video blog in preparation for his meeting with “Showtime.”

And, “Lil’ Heathen” is none-to-impressed with Pettis’ resume.

“Come October 8, I’m going to beat the (expletive) out of Anthony Pettis,” Stephens said. “Knock him off his pedestal, whatever the (expletive) he thinks he’s on. Just expose this chump.”

Stephens (20-6) has been competing in the UFC since 2007 and is 4-1 in his last five bouts.

The Stephens-Pettis bout is expected to take place on the Spike TV portion of the card.

The Stephens video blog where he talks about Pettis is below, but be warned, it does contain graphic language.
