Michael Bisping Feels Like Chael Sonnen Isn’t In Line For A Title Shot

Michael Bisping has no control over who gets the next crack at UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

But, the brash Brit doesn’t feel like Chael Sonnen is anywhere near being that contender.

Bisping, who will meet Jason Miller in December, will be featured each and every week on Spike TV beginning next Wednesday when the 14th season of The Ultimate Fighter begins.

Sonnen, meanwhile, is set to face Brian Stann at UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard lll in October. He was defeated by Silva in an incredible fight last year, submitting via triangle armbar in the fifth round.

“I think it’s complete (expletive),” said Bisping, on The MMA Hour recently. “Chael Sonnen, who just fought the champ, cheated and took steroids. I think I am next in line. Ideal scenario would be beat Miller, get a title shot, win the world title.”

Bisping (21-3) has won his last three UFC fights over Dan Miller, Yoshihiro Akiyama and Jorge Rivera. His only two defeats since the start of 2008 have come at the hands of Dan Henderson and Wanderlei Silva.

Bisping and Miller will meet on December 3 from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale. The two will coach featherweights and bantamweights on this upcoming season.
