The UFC announced a light heavyweight battle between Tito Ortiz and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira for December 10 at UFC 140.
UFC 140 will be held inside the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Ortiz and “Lil” Nog were expected to headline UFC Fight Night 24 this past March, but “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” was forced to pull out from the fight after suffering a cut and concussion during training. Phil Davis replaced Ortiz and defeated Nogueira.
Ortiz (16-9-1) was defeated by Rashad Evans last month, while Nogueira (19-5) has been on the sidelines since his loss to Davis.
“It’s on! Let’s go! positive=winning,” Ortiz wrote on his Twitter account late Friday night in regards to the upcoming fight.
Nogueira’s brother, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, will face off with Frank Mir on the same card in a heavyweight rematch. Mir won the first meeting, claiming the interim UFC title in the process.
