Dennis Hallman, he of the short-short shorts that angered UFC President Dana White so much at UFC 133, will get another chance to compete inside the Octagon, as a match with John Makdessi is being reported for UFC 140.
Hallman wore a set of tiny fight shorts that exposed his family jewels during a scramble with Brian Ebersole. Ebersole recorded a TKO victory over Hallman (43-14-2), much to the delight of White.
Hallman is 3-5 in his UFC career, but had won six of his seven fights prior to the Ebersole defeat.
Makdessi (9-0) will be fighting in his home country of Canada for the third time in three UFC fights – which he is 2-0 in. He has defeated Pat Audinwood and Kyle Watson.
UFC 140 takes place on December 10 from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. One of the planned featured bouts for the card is a rematch between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Frank Mir.
