Since restructuring his life, maturing and joining the team in Albuquerque under Greg Jackson, UFC lightweight fighter Melvin Guillard has established himself as one of the top contenders in the 155lbs. division.
The Young Assassin is currently on a five-fight winning streak, with his two most recent victories coming over Evan Dunham and Shane Roller — both bouts were impressively finished via strikes in the first round. Working out of such a large stable of fighters, the chance that Guillard will have to cross paths in the octagon with a teammate are legitimate.
In the video below, Guillard speaks with MMACanada.net about facing off against a teammate, explaining that he would only do so if it the stakes were high enough.
