FOX Network has set an email saying they will show a one-hour documentary special on October 30 to promote the UFC before the network begins showcasing live fights.
UFC on FOX is still set for November 12, with a one-hour live edition featuring two fights. The remaining fights from that night will be shown on the UFC Facebook page.
The documentary special will be shown immediately following the evening’s NFL round-up, giving the UFC exposure to a wide range of sports fans across the U.S.
It will also help inform viewers of what to expect from the UFC and how to better understand the rules of the Octagon.
One fight, featuring Dustin Poirier and Pablo Garza, has been set for the show, as the featherweights will open things.
Plenty of rumors have been discussed regarding the main event, including the likes of UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, and former champions Tito Ortiz, Rich Franklin and Brock Lesnar.
