Ryan Bader will return to the UFC Octagon to face Jason Brilz in a planned light heavyweight contest scheduled for UFC 139.
UFC 139 goes down November 19 in San Jose, California, from the HP Pavilion.
It was not made known if the Bader-Brilz fight would be part of the night’s main card or set for the prelims.
Bader (12-2) has suffered back-to-back losses to Jon Jones and Tito Ortiz, putting him back outside the Top-10 after making a strong case to contend for the title
Brilz (18-4-1) lost his last fight in the UFC, as Vladimir Matyushenko scored a 20-second knockout victory at UFC 129.
Both fighters are strong grapplers, as Bader was a two-time Div. I All-American at Arizona State University, while Brilz was a four-year NCAA Div. II wrestler.
