Josh Koscheck To Return At UFC 139, May Fight At Middleweight

Josh Koscheck, who last fought in December against UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, announced on his Twitter account that he will be competing at UFC 139.

UFC 139 is set for November 19 in San Jose, California. A rumored main event featuring UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez defending against Junior dos Santos has been discussed.

Koscheck wrote that he may fight at middleweight, a spot he hasn’t competed at since he was on The Ultimate Fighter.

“My next fight is in San Jose, Cali Nov 19th,” Koscheck wrote. “Good change fighting at 185lbs. :) should know real soon who.”

Koscheck suffered a broken orbital bone during his five round fight with GSP, which St-Pierre won by unanimous decision.

Koscheck could be facing off with Stephen Bonnar, as the two had a war of words over Bonnar’s clothing line ‘Trash Talkin’ Kids’ as Koscheck’s likeness was used.

Koscheck threatened legal action, and the two have been feuding ever since. Bonnar, a light heavyweight, has not discussed moving down to 185 pounds.
