UFC officials announced Tuesday that UFC 139 will take place in San Jose, California on November 19.
While a venue was not named, it is expected that the HP Pavilion will do hosting duties.
The promotion also announced a lightweight tilt between Brazilians Rafeal dos Anjos (15-5) and Gleison Tibau (23-7) will be on the card.
“Two of the best Brazilian lightweights in the UFC have verbally agreed to fight, as Rafael dos Anjos takes on Gleison Tibau at UFC 139,” UFC President Dana White said. “The two black belts will war in San Jose this November.”
The expected main event is scheduled for heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez defending against No. 1 contender Junior dos Santos.
Dos Anjos is 4-1 in his past five fights, including a knockout over George Sotiropoulos in July. The win got him back on track after a jaw injury forced him to submit to Clay Guida.
Tibau earned a submission victory over Rafaello Oliveira and a decision against Kurt Pellegrino. He is also 4-1 in his past five fights, with the lone loss coming to Jim Miller.
