It was a memorable night for Chris Lytle, as he ended his MMA career with a submission victory over Dan Hardy in the main event of UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle.
For his efforts, Lytle scored both Fight of the Night and Submission of the Night honors, raking in $65,000 for each.
Lytle locked in a guillotine choke late in the third round to defeat Hardy. Earlier this weekend, “Lights Out” had announced his retirement to spend more time with his family.
Lytle ends his career with 10 bonuses, putting him ahead of UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Lytle also was awarded a new 2010 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Donald Cerrone added to his impressive list of bonuses, scoring the Knockout of the Night with his TKO over Charles Oliveira.
