Recently signed Luis Ramos will compete at UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami, taking the place of Mike Swick in a match-up with Erick Silva.
UFC 134 goes down August 27 from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Anderson Silva will defend his middleweight title against Yushin Okami in the main event.
The Ramos-Silva fight, while not officially announced, will likely be scheduled for the preliminary card.
Ramos is the Shooto 168-pound world champion. The 30-year-old has won six of his last seven fights, including three in a row.
Silva, a 27-year-old, will also be making his UFC debut. He claimed the welterweight title for Jungle Fight and is considered one of the top prospects from Brazil at welterweight.
Swick was forced out of action due to tears of both his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his left knee.
