Courtesy MMAMania.com, we have the full list of medical suspensions as handed down by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission to the fighters who competed this past Saturday night on the UFC 133: Evans vs. Ortiz 2 fight card.
UFC 133 went down at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Topping the list is Yoshihiro Akiyama, who was given a sixty-day suspension for possible head injuries sustained in his first round TKO loss to Vitor Belfort. Akiyama must undergo a neurological exam and show good results in order to have his suspension lifted.
Middleweight Rafael Natal was hit with an indefinite suspension pending a physician’s clearance for an injury he incurred to his right hand while fighting Paul Bradley.
Tito Ortiz, Dennis Hallman, Mike Pyle and Matt Hamill were all given forty five-day suspensions for precautionary reasons. All four men were finished via strikes, with only Ortiz and Hamill making it out of the first round.
Finally, Paul Bradley has been given a thirty-day suspension for a left knee injury he got in his unanimous decision defeat to Rafael Natal. He must be cleared by a physician in order for his suspension to be lifted.
