Tom Lawlor Out, Ed Herman In Against Kyle Noke At UFC On Versus 5

The UFC announced that Tom Lawlor (7-3 1 NC) has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout with Kyle Noke (19-4-1) at UFC On Versus 5 in August due to an undisclosed injury. Ed “Short Fuse” Herman (20-7) has agreed to step in for Lawlor.

After a near two-year layoff, Herman returned to the cage last month to defeat Tim Credeur via first-round TKO at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale. The former The Ultimate Fighter 3 contestant has been 5-4 in the organization since his time on the show.

Noke is on a five-fight win streak, most recently submitting Chris Camozzi in the first round at UFC 127 this past February. The Aussie has finished all three of his fights in the UFC since debuting with the organization in June 2010.

UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle takes place on August 14, 2011 from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event is the first that the organization has hosted in Wisconsin.
