Josh Koscheck Wants A One-Off Fight At 185lbs. For The Fans

Is it Chris Leben or Stephan Bonnar?

Top ten welterweight fighter Josh Koscheck recently revealed via Twitter that he’s requested from the UFC a fan service fight at middleweight and most believe that it will come against either one of his TUF season one castmates.

He wrote: “I did ask for my next fight to be nov 19 in san jose at 185 :) RT @dethrone @joshkoscheck who you asking to fight next?”

Koshceck cultivated a rivalry with Leben during the first season of The Ultimate Fighter which culminated in a fight in the quarterfinals in which Koscheck defeated “The Crippler” via unanimous decision.

“My manager @DeWayneZinkin knows who I called out at 185 follow him & ask him who it is…maybe he will tell you. Lol”

As for Bonnar, the bad blood is fresh; Koscheck recently sued Bonnar’s clothing company, “Trash Talkin’ Kids,” for using his likeness without permission and the two have traded verbal jabs since, with most of the heat being delivered by “The American Psycho.” Bonnar fights in the light heavyweight division, making the middleweight division the only realistic place where the two can settle their differences.

Whether it’s Leben, Bonnar or someone else who most of us are forgetting, Koscheck says that his trip north will only last for the one fight.

“FYI I only want 1 fight at 185 then back to WW. :) just something real fun for the fans.”

Koscheck last appeared in action at UFC 124 this past December in a losing effort against welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre.
