Long-time UFC veteran Sam Stout reminded fans why he’s nicknamed “Hands of Stone.” The lightweight, whose last seven fights have went the distance, provided a highlight reel first round knockout at UFC 131 last night when he put Yves Edwards to sleep with a vicious left hook at 3:52 of the first round.
“I thought it would take a little bit longer to be able to connect against a fighter of Yves Edwards’ caliber,” Stout said after the fight. “I was putting my combinations together and trying to slow him down.”
