“UFC Primetime” Debuts Tonight On SpikeTV

The fifth installment of “UFC Primetime” premieres tonight at 12 AM ET/ 11 PM CT. The series will take a look inside the camps of UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and Jake Shields as they prepare for their championship fight at UFC 129 at the end of the month.

UFC President Dana White confirmed to USA Today last month that the organization would be doing the special, which is the third time that the series has featured St-Pierre.

“Yeah, we’re going to do a Primetime on those two [Shields and St-Pierre]. So everything you didn’t know about Georges St. Pierre from the other seven Primetimes, you’ll learn in this one,” White joked.

UFC 129 takes place on Saturday, April 30 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. In addition to the St-Pierre – Shields bout, UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo makes his first title defense against top contender Mark Hominick, while Randy Couture will battle Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida.
