UFC Pay-Per-Views To Air One Hour Earlier, Starting With UFC 129

The upcoming UFC 129: St. Pierre vs. Shields fight card will reach MMA fans one hour earlier, according to, and all further UFC shows will likely follow suit.

The new kick-off time for future UFC broadcasts–with exception to UFC 128: Shogun vs. Jones and UFC Fight Night: Nogueira vs. Davis–will be at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT and the duration of the events will remain the same at three hours long.

The news has not yet been officially reported by any UFC officials.

UFC 129: St. Pierre vs. Shields goes down this April 30 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and will feature a welterweight title fight between champ Georges St. Pierre and challenger Jake Shields, the outcome of which could possibly set up a superfight between St. Pierre and fellow top pound-for-pound fighter Anderson Silva.

In other title fight action, featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo will make his first belt defense in the UFC, against Canadian Mark Hominick. Also, MMA legend Randy “The Natural” Couture will possibly make his last appearance in the cage against dangerous fellow former champion Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida.
