Surprise! Chael Sonnen called someone out recently.
The embattled UFC middleweight fighter, who has been taking pot shots at other 185’ers while he sits on the shelf dealing with his guilty plea in a money laundering case, recently e-mailed UFC matchmaker Joe Silva in order to request a bout against English fighter Michael Bisping.
Sonnen and Bisping have traded barbs before and now, in the wake of Bisping’s heel-making performance against Jorge Rivera in the co-main event of UFC 127, Sonnen wants to settle their differences in the cage.

Re: Spitsbing & his tainted victory
If you get a chance to talk with him, please mention to your idiot-in-residence Michael Spitsbing it’ll be a little tougher to knee ME in the head when I’m charging at him like a runaway train and mincing him through the fence like a boiled potato, should we ever have the pleasure of each other’s company for a few (VERY few) moments in the Octagon.
Oh; and I’d suggest to him being a little careful about spitting on any of MY cornermen, since any one of them can beat him up as badly as I can. Thanks ever so much.
Hope all is well.
Following his victory over Rivera, Bisping spoke with MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani and indicated a willingness to fight Sonnen, who is due for sentencing on March 28. “The Count” seriously lost his cool as a result of Rivera’s defaming YouTube campaign, so it would be interesting to see him respond to Sonnen’s trash-talking assault, which has proven to be one of the most potent in the sport.
