Michael Bisping is not amused by Jorge Rivera’s steady tormenting; “Él Conquistador” has taken several opportunities to prod Bisping in the media, and most recently set off “The Count” by releasing a video made in conjunction with Ranger Up on YouTube which depicts a less-than-flattering mock interview with Rivera and a Bisping imposter. Bisping spoke with The Independent recently after watching the video and he sent a few of his own insults Rivera’s way during their conversation.
“Rivera’s a [expletive] dork and there’s only one person who’s going to be laughing on the night and that’s me,” said Bisping. “He can try and make himself relevant by talking [expletive] and doing stupid videos. I make myself relevant by constantly fighting the best in the world in main events and co-main events for the UFC.”
Bisping went on to question Rivera’s intellect and level of completed education.
“Obviously Jorge hasn’t written any of that himself because the guy hasn’t got two brain cells to rub together,” he said. “I doubt he can even read. Looking at him, I don’t imagine he spent too much time in school.”
The Ultimate Fighter 3 winner expressed puzzlement at Rivera’s behavior considering his age and warned that he should use his time to prepare for their upcoming fight as opposed to filming funny videos.
“The guy’s 38 years old. You’d think he’d grow up and mature. He’s going on like a childish teenager. It’s all pathetic garbage,” Bisping said. “He should spend less time making videos and more time in the gym.”
