Miguel Torres vs. Antonio Banuelos
Round 1: Torres utilized his reach advantage early by keeping Banuelos at bay and going for a high kick, which was blocked. Torres kept landing the left jab. Not much action early on, fans starting to boo at the mid-way mark. Banuelos knocked Torres to the ground, but Torres got quickly back up to his feet. They kept feigning and looking for opening late into the round. Torres landed a couple of more jabs. Banuelos landed a big left. Both men continued to circle each other as the round ended. Fans booed the opening round due to the lack of action. Fightline.com scores the round 10-9 for Torres.
Round 2: Torres continued to work the left jab. Torres landed a right hand and Banuelos countered. Torres landed an accidental low blow, and Banuelos took a moment to recover. Torres with another right hand. Both fighters not able to land much. Fans continuing to boo. Torres kept doing damage with his jabs while Banuelos had a hard time finding his distance. They had a nice exchange at the end of the round and Banuelos managed to tag Torres with a nice shot. FightLine.com scores the round 10-9 for Banuelos.
Round 3: Torres with more jabs to start the round. Banuelos still having a hard time finding his distance. Fans starting to boo again. Torres landing more punches while Banuelos is unable to get anything going. Torres landed more punches and a high kick. Torres with more jabs. Torres stalked Banuelos with a minute left and continued to land jabs. Banuelos went for broke in the final seconds and landed a couple of knees, but that wasn’t enough. Although he should get the decision, a disappointing UFC debut for Torres. FightLine.com scores the round 10-9 for Torres.

After the bout, Torres said he stuck to his gameplan. Torres gave his opponent props for being a dangerous fighter.
