UFC middleweight fighter Chael Sonnen has never strayed too far from controversy, but earlier this year he was embroiled in a controversy that was likely too much for even him.
Sonnen tested positive for synthetic testosterone following his UFC 117 title fight loss to champion Anderson Silva this past August. It was revealed that he was undergoing cleared testosterone replacement therapy and that the issue came in proper disclosure. Regardless, he is still suspended for six months, a lessened sentence from the earlier year-long suspension he was handed down.
Check out the below video where Sonnen dishes on the suspension as well as a host of other topics during an appearance on ESPN’s MMA Live.
