MMAWeekly.com is reporting that a welterweight bout between Amir Sadollah and Duane “Bang” Ludwig has been scheduled for the upcoming Ultimate Fight Night 24 bout.
The Ultimate Fighter season seven winner Amir Sadollah recently rebounded from a unanimous decision loss to Dong Hyun Kim by earning his own unanimous decision over Peter Sobotta. Sadollah owns a black belt in the Russian combat martial art sambo and a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. The 30-year old was born in Brooklyn, New York but fights out of Richmond, Virginia. Sadollah has spent his entire professional career competing in the UFC and has racked up a record of 4-2, with victories over CB Dollaway, Phil Baroni, Brad Blackburn and Peter Sobotta outweighing losses to Johny Hendricks and Dong Hyun Kim.
Mixed martial arts veteran Duane “Bang” Ludwig rebounded from a two-fight losing streak in the UFC this year by taking a close split decision over talented English fighter Nick Osipczak. Fighting out of the Grudge Training Center with the likes of Nate Marquardt and Shane Carwin, Ludwig owns a professional record of 20-11 and has spent time in the cage with the likes of BJ Penn, Jens Pulver, Genki Sudo, Tyson Griffin, Paul Daley, Takanori Gomi and Jim Miller.
Ultimate Fight Night 24 is scheduled to take place at March 26th of the coming year at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington.
