Video: BJ Penn Talks Another Lightweight Title Run On ESPN’s Sportscenter

Former UFC Lightweight and Welterweight Champion BJ “The Prodigy” Penn is currently on a two-fight losing skid (both defeats courtesy current 155-pound champ Frankie Edgar) for the first time since he posted consecutive losses to Matt Hughes and Georges St. Pierre back in 2006. Having a history of jumping weight classes, Penn will this Saturday compete as an undersized welterweight in a rubber match with former champ Hughes where he will look to right his career with a victory.

Though “The Prodigy” is currently set to fight in the 170-pound division, the Hilo, Hawaii native said during a recent interview on ESPN’s SportsCenter that his future will find him back in title contention at lightweight. You can check out the interview below:
