UFC 122 Draws 8,421 Fans For Estimated $600,000 Live Gate

UFC President Dana White announced at the UFC 122 post-fight press conference that the event drew 8,421 fans for an estimated $600,000 live gate.

The numbers are significantly lower than the last time the UFC ran an event in Germany, which was for UFC 99 in June of 2009 in Cologne. That event took place at the Lanxess Arena and drew 12,854 attendees for an estimated live gate of $1.3 million.

UFC 122 went down Saturday night at the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. In the main event, Yushin Okami defeated Nate Marquardt via unanimous decision to earn the next shot at the UFC Middleweight Championship. Full full results of the event, click here.
